2166538 – Grundlagen der technischen Verbrennung II
This course contains lectures on non-premixed flame, forced ignition, detonation, engine knock, mathematical description for premixed and non-premixed turbulent reacting flows, combustion of liquid and solid fuels, and effects of combustion on the atmosphere. Lectures will be given offline. Lecturing will focus on providing an overview of important concepts, on assisting students to gain understanding of combustion fundamentals, and on developing students' ability to study the textbook of the course on their own. The mutual interactions between lecturer and students are thus the key to a win-win situation.
