6111285 – Land Use and Ecosystem Change
The International Summer School on Land Use & Ecosystem Change, which will take place at IMK-IFU in Garmich-Partenkirchen from 30 July to 7 August 2024. The Summer School is made-up of two KIT masters courses: i) Land Use & Ecosystem Change, and ii) Concepts in Socio-Ecological Systems, and includes a 1-day field excursion in the Bavarian Alps. The School is open to KIT geo-ecology and geography masters students, but also involves students from around the world (up to a maximum of 30 participants). KIT students are able to follow the entire School (i.e. both KIT courses), or just a part of the school (involving one of the KIT courses). Importantly, if you participate in the school, we will cover your costs for travel to Garmisch, accommodation and lunches. So we would encourage you to sign up the two courses, via the Campus system (and ILIAS), as soon as possible, so we can manage the number of participants in the School.
