Seminar Humanoide Robots (2400048)

Students choose a topic from the field of humanoid robotics, e.g. robot design, motion generation, perception or learning. They conduct an independent literature review on this topic under the guidance of a supervisor. At the end of the semester, students will present the results and produce a written paper in English, in the form of a scientific publication. Learning Objectives: Students have gained experience with independent literature review on a current research topic. They have learned about, understood, and compared different approaches to a selected scientific problem. The students are able to write a comparative summary of the different approaches in English in the usual form of a scientific publication and to give a presentation on it. Examination: presentation on the chosen topic at the end of the semester and written paper. Registration in ILIAS. Please motivate in a few sentences why you want to participate in the seminar and which courses you have already attended in the field of "Robotics" or at the H2T. Introductory meeting: Friday, November 4th, 15:45-17:15, Room 148, Building 50.20.
