Fundamentals of Combustion II (in English)

This course contains lectures on nonpremixed flame, forced ignition, detonation, engine knock, mathematical description for premixed and nonpremixed turbulent reacting flows, combustion of liquid and solid fuels, and effects of combustion on the atmosphere. Lectures will be given online, either weekly or continually in a given week (to be determined). Lecturing will focus on providing an overview of important concepts, on assisting students to gain understanding of combustion fundamentals, and on developing students' ability to study the textbook of the course on their own. The mutual interactions between lecturer and students are thus the key to a win-win situation.
