Logistics and Supply Chain Management
— Students are introduced to the methods and tools of logistics and risk management in complex and dynamically evolving supply chain networks. Students are made familiar with analytical tools and characteristics of modern logistics and supply chain management and learn to identify and analyze the arising risks. On the basis of this overview, the students gain knowledge about approaches and methods of supply chain risk management. Key aspects include the identification of major risks, which provide the basis for the development of robust networks, and the design of strategic adaptation measures. In this manner, students will gain knowledge in analyzing, designing and steering of robust internal and external value-creating networks.
