2400194 – Human-Robot Interaction - Seminar
In this Seminar students refine their ability to conduct a systematic literature review, report their findings in a scientific short paper written in LATEX and discuss them in an oral presentation, and delve deeper in key topics on Social Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction.
During the course, students individually explore one among a number of topics in Human-Robot Interaction, globally tackling some of the core issues concerning the design of social robots, including the effects of robot appearance on people’s perception (topic 1), socially-aware navigation (topic 2), interaction modalities (topics 3-5) and complex social capabilities and constructs such as conveying humour (topic 6), social learning (topic 7) and trust (topic 8).
Please note that this seminar will be held in English. All presentations and written reports have to be delivered in English.
