4022191 – Dark Matter - Theoretical Aspects
An overview of the dark matter problem is given. We discuss the evidences for a large dark matter component in the universe and present different particle physics candidates to explain the dark matter, including weakly interacting massive particles, sterile neutrinos, axions. In each case we study their production mechansims in the early universe and possible observational signatures.
