The exam can only be taken if the exercises are passed. The prerequisite for this is that you take part in the exercises (obligatory attendance). It is permitted to be absent twice. If you are absent from the exercises more than twice, a medical certificate must be presented if the exercises are to be graded as passed and you wish to be admitted to the examination.
