Syllabus
This research seminar/colloquium has a pre-read format: We will discuss current works by members of the department and visiting scholars, covering a broad range of topics from both theoretical and practical philosophy. Each session’s text will be circulated one week in advance, and each participant is expected to prepare thoroughly for the discussion (which will most often be in English).
Undergraduate and graduate students are especially encouraged to participate. Advanced master students and doctoral students (in particular those who are currently writing a thesis) will have the opportunity to present their own work-in-progress – an opportunity which is understood to be conditional on attending the other sessions as well.
