Power Electronics

Power electronics is playing an increasingly important role in the future energy landscape. The energy transition and the flexibilization of future transmission and distribution grids lead to new applications for power electronics. The course teaches the fundamentals of power electronics with the most important power semiconductors and basic circuit topologies as well as application-oriented aspects for the design, modulation and control of power electronic systems.
