4022071 – Detektoren für Teilchen- und Astroteilchenphysik

First lecture will be on 27.10.2020 in presence. I would like to have a largely interactive lecture with questions from you. In consultation with the participants during the first lecture, I hope we can streamline a little and hold two lectures on some Fridays (Block 1 & 3 or 1 & 2) or hold some lectures purely remotely. Instead of classroom exercises, we organise a timed self-organised laboratory course in groups at Campus North - "Construction and operation of a silicon sensor pixel telescope" plus possibly exercises on silicon strip sensors. The extended exercises (for 8 ECTS) consist of a GEANT and extended detector practical. I am flexible to hold the lecture in German or English with slides fully in English.
