2243070 – Data-Based Modeling and Control
The module covers basic concepts and fundamentals of data-based approaches for modeling and control design for dynamical systems and processes. Data-based approaches for modeling, also called system identification, are used to identify a mathematical description of the considered system from the available input and output data. Data-based approaches for control design compute the controller without an a priori known model of the system. Extensions to state-space model identification and machine learning concepts such as neural networks, reservoir computing and physics-informed neural networks will be addressed.
