This course introduces theoretical concepts of particle physics with extra space-time dimensions and discusses their phenomenology. Topics include:
* compactification, orbifolds and boundary conditions
* 5D fields and Kaluza-Klein decomposition
* gauge-Higgs unification
* warped geometry and the Randall-Sundrum model
* gauge and flavour hierarchies in RS
* AdS/CFT correspondence

Bachelor, master and PhD students. Knowledge of quantum field theory and the standard model of particle physics is required.
