6048211 – Atmospheric Spectroscopy and Middle Atmospheric Research - The Middle Atmosphere: Processes and Research Methods

This is course 2 of the module "Atmospheric Spectroscopy and Middle Atmospheric Research" The students know the most relevant processes in the middle amosphere and explain how related key parameters can be measured by remote sensing methods. Further, the students are familiar with related research methods, particular those involving inverse theory. They can explain the basic applications of inverse theory to atmospheric sciences; they are able to judge which method is adequate for which purpose.
