!!!! LECTURE ON DECEMBER 12th IS CANCELLED DUE TO SICKNESS !!! Lectures will take place in the ITIV seminar room on the following thursdays at 09:45am. The lecture will be held in english and only on site (no online participation possible) In this course the functionality of a lidar sensor is explained and then put into context with relevant use cases. Typical criteria for the evaluation of the performance are then presented. In the following the concept of the sensor is presented in detail and all relevant components are introduced individually. Afterwards they are qualitatively related to each other and the whole system is quantitatively examined by means of the lidar equation.
