3165016 – Fundamentals of Combustion I
This course contains lectures on Basic concepts and phenomena of combustion, experimental study of flames, conservation equations for laminar flat flames, chemical reaction, reaction mechanisms, laminar premixed flames ,laminar non-premixed flames, ignition processes, nitric oxide formation
and formation of hydrocarbons and soot.
Lectures will be given offline at 02.95 ID SR Raum 101. Lecturing will focus on providing an overview of important concepts, on assisting students to gain understanding of combustion fundamentals, and on developing students' ability to study the textbook of the course on their own.
