4026171 – Introduction to Flavour Physics

The course covers the theoretical basis of flavour physics, which studies transitions between different fermions. Most important are flavour-changing neutral current (FCNC) processes like meson-antimeson mixing or the decay b → s + photon, which probe effects of new physics up to scales of 1000 TeV.
