What is the difference between result and finding? How do I create the scientific design for a thesis or for a publication?

The seminar in English will take place on the four to five specified dates:

Contents:
The seminar is a combination of lecturer presentations and discussion,
as well as student presentations and discussion
The block course consists of three parts:
Part 1: Basics and presentation of the method
Part 2: Application of the method to the analysis of selected examples
Part 3: Application of the method to structure your own research topic

The participants deal with the following questions:
what is science?
what is scientific?
what is the scientific method?
what is a scientific design?

The seminar examines classic and modern approaches to the theory of science, in particular critical rationalism.
The participants work out definitions and delimitations of the terms:
- topic
- research question
- thesis
- hypothesis
- assumption
- theory

The participants develop a simple and practical recipe for the scientific design of publications, theses and dissertations.
The recipe is used by the seminar participants to analyze selected scientific work and to structure their own scientific work.

Exam:
The exam is carried out by creating two presentations.
The seminar will be graded as passed if the submission and presentation of the presentations is successful.
