General information about the temporary ILIAS account:
  • The temporary ILIAS account is only active for the current semester.
  • However, the validity of the account can be extended for the following semester.

What do I need to get a temporary ILIAS account?

In order to get a temporary ILIAS account as a guest listener you have to do the following things:
  • You must have submitted an application for guest auditor status (further information here).
  • If your auditorium has been accepted, you will need the auditor's certificate issued.

How do I get a temporary ILIAS account?

If you have submitted all the required documents and funds, you will receive a registration code either by post or by email. If you have any questions about the consignment procedure, you can contact the WelcomeDesk. This registration code is required to create or renew an account. You can find more information on registration codes here.

How do I register with KIT-ILIAS?

Before the initial login you must create an account with your registration code. You can find information about the process here.

  1. You visit the page ilias.studium.kit.edu .
  2. Then click on the door symbol in the upper right corner.
  3. Now click on  "Lokales Gast-Konto" (Local account).
  4. You enter your account data.
  5. Finally click again on the field „Anmelden“ .

What to do if you have forgotten your password?
