General information about the temporary ILIAS account:
  • The temporary ILIAS account is only active for the current semester.
  • However, the validity of the account can be extended for the following semester.

What do I need to get a temporary ILIAS account?

You do not need any additional information for the temporary ILIAS account.

How do I get a temporary ILIAS account?

To get a temporary ILIAS account please contact your trainer and give the above mentioned data. He or She will assign you a registration code.

How do I log into KIT-ILIAS?

Before the initial login you must create an account with your registration code. You can find information about the process here.

Once you have received your login data, you can log in to KIT-ILIAS. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. You visit the page ilias.studium.kit.edu .
  2. Then click on the door symbol in the upper right corner.
  3. Now click on  "Lokales Gast-Konto" (Local account).
  4. You enter your account data.
  5. Finally click again on the field „Anmelden“ .

What to do if you have forgotten your password?

People with a local ILIAS account can reset their password via ILIAS:

  1. Access ilias.studium.kit.edu.
  2. Click on the door symbol in the right corner.
  3. Then click on "Lokales Gast-Konto".
  4. Scroll down and and click on „Passwort vergessen?“.
  5. Enter account information and associated email address.
  6. Confirm.
